‘Bichchoo’ to be performed on 16th and 17th July at Mystic Acts Studio

The popular comedy play ‘Bichchoo’ is back for two laugh-out-loud performances on 16th and 17th July 2022 at Mystic Acts Studio.

About the Play

‘Bichchoo‘ revolves around the families of Munne Miyan & Banne Miyan who, though very rich, are miserly to the core of their hearts. Their sons Munir & Afzal are close friends and are having love affairs with Razia and Neeli respectively without the knowledge of their fathers. Their servants Rehmat and Hashmat are their aids in their efforts.

The situation of both young men is aggravated when Munne Miyan fixes the marriage of his son Munir with Banne Miyan’s daughter. Afzal and Munir then approach Rehmat, the street smart servant of Banne Miyan, who comes up with a plan to fool both the elderly men in a highly comic manner that results in plenty of hilarious situations.

The language of the play is Hindustani with the mixture or khaalis Urdu .

Many actors across the globe have done this play specially Om Puri sir. He was very fond of the play used to say that I have performed ‘Bichchoo’ (Directed by Ranjit Kapoor) at NSD ( National School of Drama), where it was a huge success and did 70 shows. Later, Jennifer Kapoor ( wife of Mr. Shashi Kapoor ) inspired Om Puri Sir to do this play in Mumbai and all over India successfully.
