Mystic Acts Studio will present the experimental play ‘Lomadiyan’ written by Saiyyed Zahir Usman at Mystic Acts Studio on 16th October 2022 at 8:00 PM. The veteran theatre director Mr. Ashok Banthia has directed the play. The various details of the play are as under:
ABOUT THE PLAY
‘Lomadiya’ is about feudal system in our country which we have been facing since many years. It shows how two hunters hunting for their hunt meets a helpless Gadriya who is working for the Zamindaar of the village. Hunters and Gadriya confront each other and hunters come to know about a goat lost in jungle which belongs to zamindaar.
The Gadriya is scared of Zamindaar because if he doesn’t find Zamindaar’s goat than he will be beaten by a hunter. The Shikari says “Zamindaar aur Rajao ke zamaane gye”and encourage the Gadriya to face the Zamindaar. Eventually, Gadriya succumbs to the feudal system.
